Every International student must have BC medical
insurance. Students
have to actually be in Canada to apply for this insurance.
Because it takes approximately three months to receive medical
coverage once the student applies, students must carry medical
insurance for at least three months to ensure continuous
coverage. This
insurance must be obtained from the student’s home country
All students must submit with
their application a copy of the medical insurance from their
country, which covers them for at least three months.
